How I spent my morning only to forget to have the spark plug seals that have to be ordered to the store for pickup tonight, also found a nice size hole in my exhaust from the cat-bac so time for that exhaust upgrade I’ve been putting off for years24EE8EEF-B21F-4248-B0DA-8B7407EB9A5E.jpgE1C215A1-632D-4228-B506-D59C2E54E720.jpg

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I'm interested in doing this. How's the install? Does it mount to factory location, or is there modifications that are necessary?

I almost ordered the +130 until I learned the +120 are brighter and less filtered.

Install isn't too bad, hardest part was fishing the wires through the roof, down the pillar and out the firewall, figuring out where I wanted them to go. The mirror needs a glue on windshield mount. I went to Safelite and had them do it since I had a rock chip I wanted repaired while I was there. Otherwise, drop the front of the headliner to run the wires and that's about it. Easy.

From what I saw, the +130 are a little brighter on low beam and only high bean is filtered. They are both better than stock either way.

Upgrading to this cool shifter console with the cup holders today. The heat gun trick works wonders when restoring scratched up plastic. I had to steal that bracket on the bottom from the 5-Lug so it would mount properly to my 4Runner shifter console.

Also putting in new 3D printed shifter bushings to stop my truck from shifting into Neutral randomly. Pretty sure the 300k mile 4Runner I took the shift console from had long disintegrated shifter bushings. (Thanks @Brice!)

I have one too. Mine is the Gentex 313 with HomeLink from a 2012 Nissan Titan.

My truck must have heard talking about getting spare CVs. Passenger side has some grease on the shaft. Not a ton but some. I’ll have to take a better look at it tomorrow

Think it was a 2001. Toyota made em for the whole generation, only difference is the interior color change between 2000 and 2001. My 5-Lug has it too, albeit in 5-Speed form.

This is perfect since it’ll match my 2004 center console. I have a 1999 shifter trim and it’s mismatched.

I’ve been considering the marlin Taco box at some point, so I’ll lose a cup holder to the shifter. So adding another one would be cool

Check your valve lash while you're in there, unless that's what you were doing in the first place. It's common that they get tight over time.

Yup, yours is one of the guys I was referring to. I didn't want or need homelink so I went with the 177.

OK, I just lubed all the zerks that I could find on the truck because I just got a new tool. I don't know if you guys have seen or heard of LockNLube stuff but you have to go check them out. Lubing all grease fittings is so simple now with this thing. It really does work as advertised. And I'm not getting paid or asked to post this. This thing just fucking rocks.

I got the $30 one and it's worth the cost.

    https://locknlube.com/collections/locknlube-grease-coupler

And I just ordered the 90 degree coupler since I had one fitting that I couldn't get anything on, the driver side lower ball joint fitting.

Hopefully someone here has done this mod.

I want to change the lighting in my instrument cluster, heater controls, shifter etc (essentially the whole dash).

I'm hoping someone can tell me what bulbs they used. I don't want to tear the whole dash apart to figure it out.
