    Finally cool enough weather here in southern CA to enjoy wheeling...found some mud from recent rain and managed to get a rock stuck between my rim and my caliper or maybe my brake pad and rotor...not sure. All I know is that for about 30 minutes I had a godawful rotational screeching sound coming from the front driver wheel that finally ended when I yanked the wheel side to side several times.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    It's a Toyota thing, I've been in ones as new as three years old that don't retract. My cruiser mostly retracts. The taco hardly does at all and the 300zx rockets back into the retractor as if it was on a garage door spring.
