Then I realized I can just buy a 2018 and put a couple thousand into it and have a newer truck with lower mileage and less ugly rims.

 

You know why I never got into lifting fullsizes?
They fit exactly ZERO of the trails I frequent. and if i was getting a fullsize, it'd have to have a diesel. You just get so much more, 250 plus size

 

I don't run trails often, the one time I did I got a big ass scratch that made me angery.

 

this one time, no two times, no 3 times I hit a tree and I also go angery. Then a friend helped me out, and then I cut my fender for a snorkle because I stopped givin a fuq

quite a few people were there. It was completely @Darkgoatracer fault, @3pooches laughed at my pain and then gave me a beer.

@2016Taco4Me also got his trail damage cherry popped, but his wasn't near as bad.

I literally drove through a large tree tree on three separate occasions before realizing it was scratching the paint.

Every time I let it go without waxing for a week, the memories come back to haunt me.

Same trip also converted my fog light into an aquarium for a few months.

It was tipped over in front of the gate and it was night time, so I was like "fuck it I'm not getting out it's 30 degrees" and I had five people in the bed witnessing me scrape it. Rinse, repeat x2

I also beached the front skid on a stump the next day.

 

at this point you should keep the truck and armor it, and re gear. Instead of getting into another payment

 

No damage from the stump though, I'm gonna try and get the trail marks corrected by the time I sell it though because that's the only damage on the truck.

Luckily, I paid cash for the Tacoma so in a perfect world I'd be able to get $24,000 for it private sale. Then throw the difference down to get into a $30,000 new truck and grab some mods along the way. Still probably gonna be a couple months before I get everything in order though lol, I'm notorious for taking forever on things.

Hope all is well. Been traveling back and forth for the last 2 months, plus entire family was sick, then dealing with some things with my extended family, and then the baby getting sick again. It has been quite a roller coaster.
