Future plans are to get another garage built and the get another tacoma and get him into drifting. And my other son too.

I wish I had learned to weld at 17. I was taking all the math and science I could while attempting to have carnal knowledge of as many girls as possible. I got that engineering degree, got married early, don’t really use the degree, and still wish I could weld.

 

I vaguely remember inviting someone over on more than one occasion . One cant learn if they dont utilize the opportunities.

Hey there is an idea as an option (probably wont happen). Have the option to fabricate your own y-pipe while being taught the process.

Yeah but you got the degree! I know a lot of people that have a totally different job or career than what their major was. The degree got them in the door.

Ah yes, back in the day my grades weren't the best in academic school but I sure did my homework and got a lot of extra credit in female anatomy class.

To a 17yo parents are dumb ( we get smarter when they get older though).
To a 17yo school is mostly dumb because you will never use the stuff they teach in school (until you do).

Funny though as I was showing him how the Argon regulator worked and he remembered Ar from the periodic table he learned years ago. One day at a time grownups gain there intelligence back as the young fledgling embarks on adulthood.

 

Been awhile since ive been on the forums. The nx venture seems promising while ive been doing some work on my tuning skillz.

 

Speaking for myself my grades were excellent and I enjoyed school however I did detest bust work or repetitive teachings.

Also keep any liquid pails away from youngins. I had at least 6qts of drained oil in a pan (was changing oil in all the toys) and my younger son stepped right on the edge and the oil drenched him and the garage.
So now I have a 10 foot wide circle of used oil with a 3 year old right in the middle of it. It was an interesting experience getting everything cleaned up including my kid.

I’ve been thinking of this again and I don’t think it’s gonna work seeing how I’m going to be running meth. Sensor is gonna get screwed up no matter what I can find. Unless it’s like a coolant temp sensor that’s a solid piece. But I’m not the smartest lol. Just have go fast ideas.

I understand what you are saying. I also dont know how the ecu would react to an instant large temperature drop when the meth starts injecting.
Its possible to drop 50+ ° very quickly which the ecu may not like.
I wonder if the old ait resistor trick would for us?

Could even use a potentiometer to experiment and dial it in to exactly what's needed.
