Tacos in St. Louis area

Gotta trim my fenders and flares today, and possibly take more off the cab mount. Will know more after the tires get mounted. If I can get everything done today, I should be able to get the Taco out there tomorrow for a shakedown run, if not I’ll see if the wife wants to bring the 4runner.

 

I'm confused, was the event today? I was led to believe it was tomorrow.

 

Shoot.. you’re probably right. I’m not on any of the MO4WD stuff. I was just looking at this thread and people were taking about Saturday’s weather, so I ASS-U-MEd it was today. It was a nice day to ride around 109 and stuff.

I think you should be fine, you dont have a lot of weight up front unless you put the bumper on, even with that, you should be good

 

FYI on those rolling home through Eureka tomorrow. About 1mi off I44 at 109 heading South. Tiger wash just opened. They're running a deal on $1 wash.

 

Tires mounted, looks like no more work on the Taco today, wife is making me take her to Hobby Lobby. Daddy and Husband duties call, she bought me no quite Dirty 5’s so I’m gonna go handle this shopping shit. Gonna try and get the truck all sorted out tomorrow, so doesn’t look like I’ll be joining you guys. But I’ll catch you guys at the shop to help out with whatever we got going on, but mostly to shoot the shit, and make a side trip to Trader Joe’s.

Well my stocker no locker plans are out the window.
Working tomorrow from all these tornados and wind damage. Going to be at minimum 50 hr weeks until xmas most likely.

@HIYota LOL I wish, Steve did a freakin’ awesome job zeroing in the alignment the last time, but I definitely need more caster for these tires. At the shop right now, talking the techs through what I need to get done. Fingers crossed hoping they can get it dialed in. After this gonna start trimming the fenders and clean up the cab mount. Wish I could’ve made it out with you guys, haven’t wheeled the rig in a while. Be safe out there, and have fun!

Anyone who is coming to mod day that’s rolling on - or has one - 16” SCS Wheels? I’d like to fit one to to front to see if I’d have issues with them. Have the boxed lowers and gussetted spindles.
