    Hi Christy
Here is one more spring option to check out.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...2-sizes-now-available-made-in-the-usa.539958/
I like that it was designed for heavy Tacomas. Attention to detail with Teflon anti-squeak pads. Good price. People seem to get great load capacity and still have decent flex.
Full discloser I bought the 5+1 and will run it with one leaf out until I get a camper (drifter I hope)

How you liking those new leafs MJ? What are the specifications on them?

Are they required to be used with aftermarket shackle hangers or can be used with stock hangers?

wrapped in satin black. I gotta say, phil and team went the extra mile modifying this for my gen1. The angle of the side and width is perfect.

Ooo nice! I was debating getting on of their habitat systems, then I found out how much the weigh and that they cannot accommodate my elements fridge. :( and I don’t trust myself to build one as it’s bloody cold out and i’d Be like yup that is close enough, everything would be crooked/ leaning one way or the other.

    Looking forward to the pics!

Lol! Well I’m just hoping to have all ten fingers at the end of this all.

I had a lot of detailed materials discussions with @danneskjold months ago that helped me a ton. It can be done DIY as many of the guys here have successfully proven.

That Elements fridge is quite large exteriorly. My plan is to use an open space top for the fridge door and a memory foam mattress will (fingers crossed) make up for any step ups in the framing. My bed build will definitely be different and not for everyone but living in it nearly full-time has given me the eyes to see beyond a typical buildout...I’ve always wanted a tiny home lol!

Yeahs it’s longer then the standard. I got it for n insane price when they first came out and it lived in the back of the truck bed for months with no cover.

That’s a great find! Unfortunately for my circumstances I couldn’t use my drill bc my neighbor decided that a square tap would fit in my Milwaukee quick connect drill:angrygirl: I won’t have it back for three weeks from repair. So old school elbow grease it is.
The gun tap I have pushes the burrs ahead of the tap so you don’t have to draw out/clear and go back. You can still use a 3/8” drive with a drill and fluid with it.

Now for the obvious question...what are you doing there?

Best of luck! I had fun, but also see why Goose Gear charges what the charge.

I landed on a drawer with Alu-Box's K9 attachments on top so I can have accessible storage inside the drifter that can be removed when needed. Two 67L Alu-Boxes mounted side by side fit the bed cushion perfectly, so I use it as a couch until its time to sleep.

Currently hanging the drawer and building another box for the propex.
