I'm running 18" Methods w/ 275/70/18 BFG K02. Not using cruise control, bought the truck with those wheels and tires on it brand new. I've thought about trading them for some 17's with 265 on it.

    ********SEAT HEIGHT MOD ************************

[Long story short.... JUST DO IT]

Like many others, I don't find the seating position to be comfortable. I'm young and in decent shape, but my lower back would hurt after long trips... (Not a problem I experienced in my '04 Dodge 2500 even with a crappy seat) I'm 6'0 and my legs are just too dang long to deal with a seat that low. No support on my thighs/hips. I could slide all the way back, but then barely reach the steering wheel, lol.

*I found someone selling seat spacers... but I decided I didn't want to wait, so I went the ghetto route and stacked five 3/16" spacers underneath the rear seat rail bolts (You have to get longer ones). All in all, it cost me around $10 and 5 minutes of "labor", lol. It made a world of a difference and I'm much more eager to take my truck on road trips now! No more back pain.*

After living with this setup for a few thousand miles I think I may even add one or two more spacers for a slight height increase.

    Hope this helps someone!

It's a little stiffer on the street, I like the looks, haven't been able to get off-road with it yet!

Yes, right over the existing ones. Washed with soapy water, then alcohol, then just water, wiped dry with a papertowel. Then applied.

Like the bracket idea. I didn't really want to mess with he headliner in the back, and with a bed rack I'm pretty much screwed on FOV anyway so there wasn't going to be a truly good place to put the camera anyway.
    Very nice build thread.

I did...lowering the existing rails and the whole bit - about an hour...maybe more with deciding what to do with the drain plugs...which I just opened the 1/4" to 5/8" and still needed a 1/2" PVC stright connector to push in.
outside that, went pretty flawless. Did NOT put the weather stripping on the bulkhead (per a video) and we will see...but not overly concerned about water tightness, this is a recreational (DD) pick up and NOT a work truck.

ready to go tot he mall to show it off...LOL

Very easy install and good instructions supplied with the MX4. In addition several good YouTube installation videos. Easy, honest.
