Yea my last rig was a crawler but this is a unnecessary squeak so it bugs me lol. I loosened the bolt and pumped grease but still squeaks so I’m about to take the bolt out and redo it all lol.

OR I was wondering if maybe it’s the KDSS bar into its rubber bushing. Maybe the moving it while doing the lift caused a squeak lol. Idk. Ima figure this out tho. Just annoying.

My Icon UCAs used to squeak a lot. Aren't you supposed to use tri-flow on the delta joint like you would on a uniball instead of grease? I could be wrong. it's been a minute.

The majority of my squeaks were coming from the bushings being bad though.

My Johnny joints are quiet too. I’ve never greased them either. Should probably get on that

It’s expensive, but worth it if you don’t want to road trip. It honestly comes out to about the cost of gas + a little more and you save all those miles of wear on the vehicle

Koa campgrounds are cheap and sprinkled across the country. That's where we camped on the motorcycle road trip
If you want to be scummy about it just show up after hours when the staff is gone and leave before they get there and you get a free spot for the night:anonymous:

Just drive. I've done the drive from coast to coast 5 times now and I would do it again tomorrow if I had the chance. There's so much shit to do and see. Take your time. Like 2 weeks worth of it. Have your employer give you relocation expenses and use them to fund the drive.

Did the drive in August with breaking it up, visiting shit, and seeing everything I wanted to. I live in Virginia Beach so straight shot, it’s just over 3,000 miles. There’s nothing east of Colorado I need to see again and it’s easier just to drive from NorCal to wherever I want to see, west of CO, after shipping it.
The company is giving me a pretty sizeable stipend to move which makes me want to ship it and buy a plane ticket. I’ll probably spend about the same to ship it plus flight versus driving after food and all that.

If the trucks have the same type of flares they should be. Why are you putting running boards on? Most of us take them off...

Had to get another one since the wife is taking over the trail. This one will be fun to use for work and then wheel on the weekends :headbang:

Tents gone. Back to bro runner for a few weeks.

Although now I am looking into maybe grabbing a rear bumper for fuel storage on those certain trips

Can’t decide. May just make a TREDs mount to my swingout now and throw a few rotopax up front where treds usually go for trips.
