    Ok....Its strength is going to be determined by its boarder, and base. What I have done out here, in an unstable area, and a brick paver type walk way, is use a sand base, se tthe pavers, then, get about 2 gallons of white glue. Its prettty cheap at a construction supply. After the pavers are set, mix some sand with some water, and glue mix. About 1 cup of glue, per 5 gals of water. Make a runny paste consistancy. The glue will act as a binder for the sand, but, being as it rermains pliable to a degree, it wont allow cracks to form in the paver joints. You dump the sand/water/glue on top of the pavers, smear it around with a trowel, then wash it into the cracks with a hose.

    No. My friend who we did this for, has sprinklers set up along the edge of this walkway, and they water daily. Its been 12 years, and its still crack free. The only issues are, its a little uneven, due to ground settling. We didnt have lab samples taken of the section in which we did this, so, it has settled a bit. There is about a 3/4"+/- elevation change in 15 feet. The other 40 feet is fine.

    I was going to do a paver patio, but decided to go with the quickrete walkmaker - using just bagged cement and you don't need to put down the base....

    Thanks for the info on the sand / glue combo... want to seal between the pieces of "pavers".

    My ground is sand and the only movement is from where the water has been washing it out :eek:
