    That's how I interpreted it too. The flash kit eliminates the handheld by using your computer as the handheld to flash a fixed tune that is the same for other users. Then there is the Iotech full custom tune software you would run on your own computer to create your own unique tunes or have a tuning shop use the software to do the tuning for you.

    That was how I interpreted things. With zero tuning experience I’d want a shop to help me. Not sure how I find the right shop for a Tacoma in Dallas Texas. I’ve never seen anything on OV’s site showing shops that work with them.

    I never saw anything either and randomly found out in this thread that there is a shop where I am that deals with OvTune and hopefully will have a dyno and custom tunes in the future.

    Thanks for the update, but this leaves me confused. I received an email on 28 Nov, telling me to expect my V2 Calibration this weekend, but my truck is a 6MT.

    I talked to Mat about it when I went in for my dyno tune since I had the kit I just ran out of time to get it installed before the dyno runs.

    He said the valve body upgrade would be better than trying to change anything computer controlled by the ecu, but I believe he said he could still alter line pressures slightly through the ecu. Him altering the shift points shouldn’t do much harm though, as likely I think the transmission will try to hold gears longer instead of rushing to 5th gear.

    Would love to hear what @OVTune has specifically changed in the v2 update. If I get my updated file I will try and be the lab rat for everyone.

    Shrockwork Sliders, ICON (C/0, Tube UCA and 2.0 Rear), Dakars, US OFFROAD winch mount bumper. 2014 Nav Radio, SOS rear bumper and shackle flip, Pelfreybilt Skids. BAMF Bar mount and CMC, SCS-F5, Magnuson SC
    V2 had two files in it, looks like one is for 91 and the other is for 93 octane loaded the 93 and am very happy @OVTune When throttle is stabbed the AFR goes OSL 8.5 but quickly recovers to 10~10.5 and very fast according to the butt dyno. With ver. 1 it was staying OSL even when throttle was backed off a little you had to really throttle back to get it Above 9.5. so overall in the 30 minute I drove it all is going in the right direction I will report back when I have had a chance to assess the behavior of the TCU changes
