We just had a new restaurant open on the Riva', 15 minutes from the house  and they do "Local food" justice...;)

The Boat House 31, all outside seating with a Tiki Hut shell, boat docks for the food , a marina and a GREAT atmosphere , plus "Local pricing" :D not the tourist trap $$$$….

They need the locals who live & play more than the one off hits...:hattip:

We have very few places that cater to the locals. On the other hand we have a ton of taco carts, fewer taco trucks and even fewer actual Mexican restraunts. But if you don't want Mexican food, you're stuck with snowbird chow or fast/corporate food. Yes, we're in the southwest but a touch more variety would be nice.

I miss traveling out that way....my afternoon runs were to Sharpes or Cocoa and then pick up stone at City Point for the trip back to Orlando or Winter Garden...:hattip:

Those were the days when driving along State Road 50 through Bithlo and Christmas was easy...

    Morning all
Spent yesterday on the roof fixing the crap tarp job. Had rain water pouring through the door frame.

Wife and daughter want to decorate with deer for the yard. I said ok as long as I can string them up in the tree and have red lights coiled on the ground under it. So far, no deer...

Big Licks in Lynchburg VA has gator on the menu. My wife was goin through our expenses and she noticed the name of the restaurant, she threw “the look” and asked “what kinda seedy establishment is this”

I reassured her that was very much a Jimmy Buffet motif, not a go go bar.

Today is about my only day to put up lights. Also have to clean up the garage. No real trash, just cluttered by not putting stuff away. I do have a new gas grill my wife bought me but it was too hot out there to assemble it when she brought it home. It's taking up space and there is room on the back porch for it.....maybe...

    Thanks, added to the list.
    Things keep breaking.
Wife’s computer SSD stopped working, she was using mine for a couple days. Got a used one from a friend everything was already loaded that she needed.
Pellet stove stopped feeding pellets last night. Apparent slide plate issue loosened it up and appears to be running normally. Just have to put the covers back on.
Now the wife just told me the sink is leaking. I hate doing plumbing work! No offense Kevin.

It's kinda common in dogs with a little age this time of year. My 3 dogs get to grab-assing and will pull up with a limp for a day or 2. Nothing serious but they'll favor it. They're coming along around 6-7 years old. Not old but definitely not pups.
