It was a consideration, but hasn't shown any change or movement. These will continue to be non-DOT approved until further notice.

Nice!!! A bunch of people have commented that they wished Baja would make an SAE pod. I look forward to seeing what you guys come out with.

Having just bought the complete kit will it be a completely different light kit and housing for the new fogs or will it be a lens change?

the compleate kit is just that, the total kit to mount up. if you did it separately you would have your basic squadron lights then an extra bezel.
you can buy any squadron lens kit you want to change the output type.

Sorry should have been more specific. I was referring to the new SAE DOT approved fogs coming out. As I just bought the old kit. If that makes semse

Yeah I am hoping I can switch them out or upgrade without paying too much twice.

I hope to have more details posted towards the end of December. I can't say much besides it being a special optic and lens for the Squadron. I don't know details on the circuit board and if the lens can be adapted to existing lights. Hope to post more info soon

Ordered a set today! Can’t wait to get them.

Really wanted the Pro’s but I figured the Sports are more “streetable”.

I have the sport, wide corner and street them in the "elements" or when I need extra light. I've never been flashed And actually parked my truck on the street with them on. I dove by it in my golf which is low and was not bothered At all. I thought I'd be in the neighbors yard or something but they seemed normal....just sayin. That doesn't mean they don't light up the night, they do, WELL! They're just usable...

Be careful using the Sports on the street. They were considered street-friendly at 1800 lumens but now that they are 3,150 lumens each, I'd be very cautious using them with other traffic.

    Was this a recent upgrade?
Any way to tell the difference between the old and new?
