I hope she's feeling better. Star was limping bad today. Doing better now. She has a hard time getting up. She has age against her and bad back legs, but she will still chase the cat.

 

Could be age.... she turns 13 in 3 weeks. Don't think so.... she'll be fine good bit of the day, then limp a bit, then be fine

Hmmm could be that. She won't play much, but does occasionally. Time to get her checked out.... been doing the off/on limping for a week or two now....

Well, the best I got going is a stew cooking in the crock pot. Nothing like a good soup or stew to break through the (70 degree) cold... still gotta get laundry going.

Always a good idea to get it checked out if it’s been a while. Gotta take care of our furry ones. We will be keeping our fingers crossed that it’s just some old age kicking in.

 

I got my venison grounded up today, thought I was going to do it yesterday. Ended up with 17 pounds. I took 2 pounds and mixed up some breakfast sausage mix. Made patties, didn't feel like doing links. Turned out pretty good.

 

I've been watching the restoration vids, it will just get me in trouble. I am now planning the work bench and welding and media blasting and lathe machines...then reality hits.

But I did remember the 80s McCulloch 610 chainsaw I had. Inherited from my cousin, I had taken it apart and cleaned every inch. Went to put the brake spring back on and, well 20 years later, there it sat. I had gone to a chainsaw place down the street and they wouldn't touch it, McCulloch had gone out of business and they were afraid of breaking something.

Then came the internet. I looked it up and there was the answer. Took me over an hour to get it in place but it is done. Fuel had been drained and I have kept it covered, still get a spark and I might go get some oil to fire it up.

Sorry but yea we would wait and see how ours would do first. Old boxer limping a little today but she was chasing squirrels yesterday

 

I finally got ours done at other house today!
It tried to test me. The only thing old is the cast iron sink
