“Soon” is not adequate. you took orders and money with a 9-11 week estimate. Clock’s ticking.

 

Maybe I should contact Morimoto directly and see what’s up... Somebody needs to give us an update!

 

Alright, I immediately received an answer from Morimoto...

 

These group buys never move fast and generally the lead times are overly aggressive. You're getting a cool product at a great price. Pretty sure 90% of TW vendors catch crap for not communicating enough or not being clear about timelines, but in the end we get access to some cool shit through the forum. No pain, no gain. I'm sure you can be refunded by the vendor if you can't wait any longer though...

 

I’ve waited this long, just asking for some transparency. It’s like retrofitsource selling the morimoto headlights that have an unknown ETA. Better to overestimate and deliver than the opposite.

 

Or sell stuff when it’s physically in hand?
I get it though, working capital.
It’s hard being the middle man and giving ETAs when the said product production is outside your control. That’s the risk though with pre-order group buys. Either way, Kustom is a straight shooter and I have no doubts they will get delivered!

 

@kustom54lighting - Can you confirm this? It’s too bad updates need to come from members. It would be nice to hear something from you guys even if it’s not good news. We understand timelines are hard to assign for these things but a little transparency goes a long way

I thought I saw an estimate of around the 20th? I could very well be mixing this up with another product's confirmation email...
