Someone’s selling husky puppies for 200 bucks. God damnit I want one. But my little dog can’t handle a spastic big dog

I might have a set of these lined up for a decent price. Depends on if the dealer takes my offer. Think they’d be a great Christmas gift for my dad

wife wants a dog (I do too) but I just don't think we can make it work right now...however if a Husky were to suddenly pop up I think I'd bring it home in a heartbeat.

Only issue is I'm pretty adamant about rescuing a dog when we get one...I'm a firm believer in 'adopt, don't shop' since so many dogs need homes that are on shelter death row. But it's hard to find Husky's in shelters.

All my mutts are rescued. I feel they're better dogs. They will love you unconditionally.

Every dog I’ve ever had was a adopted dog. My last 2 dogs were rescue greyhounds and my current dog is a blind and deaf mini doxie that someone abandoned

yeah I just couldn't bring myself to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for a dog at a pet store or from a breeder...unless you were a breeder yourself and needed the paperwork, purebred, etc. etc. but for 99% of people they can find just as good of a dog (if not better) by going to a shelter, and save a life to boot.

Our cats are all rescues in one way or another, my wife saved one of hers from the street and the other from a parking lot covered in motor oil as a kitten. Mine was left behind by an old roommate at a former house, best cat I've ever had or known.

I used to volunteer at a Pit Bull rescue in the socal bay area doing photos for their web page and social media, would sometimes help out at the adoption events...which really changed my view on Pitts. Some of the most loving dogs I've ever known. I really would love to have one and there are tons in the shelters of course, but unfortunately there are a lot of places in CA that ban them.

Chihuahua's on the other hand are pure evil
