Backup Camera Question

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread I'm new! But I've started thinking about taking out my factory head unit and installing an Ipad mini in its place. My only concern is that I will loose my backup camera. Is there a way make the video show up on the ipad/on a third party screen/change the mirror to one with a screen and have it show up there? I really want to do an Ipad install but I don't want to sacrifice my backup camera. I have a 2014 TRD Sport Double Cab by the way. Any help is appreciated.

 

You could buy a rear mirror with screen for a backup like they had on the FJs but I don’t think iPads allow a wired video in? I suppose you could rig up something aftermarket like this

Do you know where I can get a mirror? I want to be able to use the factory camera still.

Damn looks like I'll either have to give it up or go with something aftermarket unless anyone else has a better idea haha

 

I hate to say it but if you're not already you should get married. My wife tells me how to drive forwards and backwards. Apparently I have no need for a backup camera lmfao

 

See that has the same issue above with the Toyota camera, way too much money . I think he is looking to solve this in a affordable manner.

 

LOL yeah I think the mirror would be the most affordable between those options.
