Swapped out my crappy old beat to shit stock carrier bearing with a Ford one. Holding up great thus far and all my driveline vibes are gone. I made a 2.5" spacers out of steel tubing to get my drive shaft angles pretty close to where they need to be.

Made some mods to an old bike rack.... new shovel/axe rack

Got some new tires today. Falken Wildpeak 265/70R17 . Went out and rallied in the snow and they are amazing!

 

Who can spot today's mod?

 

I would be embarrassed to put ford parts on my truck. Shame on you!

Yeah, with my lift, tires and other wind-catching parts my mileage dropped by around 1/3 overall. Major bummer! I expected that and it seems common with these trucks. I’m running 315/75/R16 with 4.88 gears. MPG’s just tanked

I’ve had to reconsider how much fuel I bring with me now on trips....like, a lot more now!

 

Where is you rpm's at when you're doing 75 and with the 4.88 would you have rather done 4.56?

I bought a rack from Front Runner, for my canopy cap, and they only shipped the rack and forgot the tracks and feet to mount it.

I finally started to organize the back seat. I used some scrap wood to hold my toolbox and sub in place and then mounted ammo cans to the bed rail for some of my recovery gear.
