Why new UCA's?

    Unless you have to replace it because it's rubbin' your new tires, why replace it? What does it do for you?

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    • Allows your alignment to be adjusted back into spec (caster) with a full 3" lift
    • Allows greater flexability in re to the ball joint (better set-ups on most after markets)
    • they look :cool:
    That's all I have for now......





    Disclaimer: There are some members with a full 3" lift that do not have an AM UCA and have no alignment issues. I know of one who wheels his rig regularly without issue.

    A uniball UCA will give a little more droop to the suspension. Important when lifting, as you loose down travel.

    To add to Chris' statement; they don't come off a production line either. It's all computerized bending and jig work (depedning on the company). They are pretty much hand made.

    I would look into getting the Built Right UCAs that Tricoma promotes on here. They're a uni-ball and cost about the same as the non-uniballed Light Racing ones.
