You paid 4-5k less than us just to put it in suspension and cosmetic mods to have your truck handle and look the same than a stock Pro.

I haven't gutted mine either and I don't plan on doing it, but at least if I would I know I can sell mine for ~1.5k, how much do you think you can have for your stock blistein?

 

Uh, we didn’t throw rocks. I believe it was you who came in here casting rocks. We were doing just fine. I don’t recall anyone else attempting to point out we wasted our money by not buying a TRD OR with P&T.

 

Except I didn't mine is stock. You don't get anything back on mods when it comes time for resale. Most dealers will ask you to put it back to stock.

Mine is worth $32k trade as of this week when I looked into a 19 at invoice. I paid invoice for my 17 which was $36k. $4k over 2 years.

Again, PROs make total sense if you keep them stock, as I said in my first post.

I paid 33,425 for my 2017 TRD OR OTD. I had put 21,000 miles on it and got 32,000.00 for it on trade. I paid sticker for the TRD Pro OTD. I’m more than happy with the deal I got.

Yep, you can bend the brackets or just cut and paint them. Did that with my 11 and 15 that were lifted.

Yep, this I know, as long as the component was not a contributing factor. Some service departments are easier to work with than others, ultimately the burden of proof to argue warranty work will fall on the consumer, the dealer can be a tool and claim it was the lift and deny away.

 

I love Pros and would have gotten one if I could have afforded it (minus the snorkel), but it’s a fair question. It seems to me if you’re going to mod it (depending on the mods) it may be more cost effective to get a lower trim model and design it to your exact specs. I mean, if you’re just adding bigger tires and a front facing camera, Pro is the way to go.
