    2.85 pulley making 4lbs boost is normal for around 5000 ft. elevation.

    So after some driving, I definitely had a belt slip issue. My boost and AFR numbers used to be all over the place. Constantly changing like crazy and jumping all over. Now everything is much more linear. Still only getting a whole 3.5ish lbs but that is the truck just telling me I need to get a snout cutter and some goodies from smoothflow. So many projects! I swear, this Tacoma is going to have had over 100k worth of parts on it when it is done. Wait, they are never done. That is the issue.

    Did you check and or adjust the bypass valve? Some are worse than others. @loginfailed's was almost perfect from the factory where mine and @5thGearPinned's had a fair amount of adjustment required to put it in optimal position.

    I found what I’m going to use for the DIY dual fuel pump hanger. 6061 round stock. 6” x 1.25” thick.

    The factory fuel pump (top plate) is just a hair under 6” diameter. If 6” is too big, I’ll mill it down with my router.

    My shit is all stock.
    Did the Roush tensioner and the 2.5” pulley this afternoon. Went with a 5PK1765 belt. Everything bolted up perfectly. Just had to swap the pulley on the new tensioner for the existing one. Piece of cake. Took it around the block really quick. Still rich under boost with no FPR mod. So, I’m safe for now I guess. Seems to be making 8 psi of boost.

    Very interesting that you're rich with 2.5 and no FPR. TRD tune?
    I make 9.5 to 10 psi boost with my 2.5, but couldn't go to that pulley without FPR.

    Ok, ok. I’ve spoken too soon.
    Took the wife to dinner tonight. Just in town driving. Looks like I am leaning out a bit under boost. Saw 13.5 AFR while winding out 2nd gear and then in the bottom of third. Any more than than that is far too fast for in town. I’ll mess with the vacuum lines tomorrow and get the FPR boost referenced. Last time I tried that though, fuel trims couldn’t compensate at idle and I got an MIL.
    I’m a bit surprised by the low boost number. I was expecting 10-ish here at 2k’ elevation. Maybe the belt is slipping. Seems unlikely. Brand new belt and beefier tensioner.

    13.5 is actually about right. I know when I did my 2.5 without the FPR I was getting somewhere around the neighborhood of 12.5-12.8 AFR.

    I have just a little slippage, but cannot hear it in the cab. The only reason I know I have belt slip is due to having someone record a burnout standing outside the truck (facing it and a few hundred feet away). When I played the video I heard it. I only have the 2.85 so I SUPPOSE it could been the serp belt?

    Either how, I never heard the slipping belt while in the cab.

    What pulley would be the one to look at for powdered rubber? (Crank or blower)

    My tensioner doesn't have any on it, and it also doesn't have any black marks on the face of the tensioner pulley, it's shiny

    Yeah I did the adjustment. Mine only took about 5/8 of a turn. Could feel the bind start about 3/4 and hard bind at 7/8. Crazy what little adjustment it takes to feel the bind. But also really liked that it was really noticeable when it did bind.
