Alright with door closed on the vehicle how do I get them aligned again. A 90 degree coat hanger ?

Another trick that has worked for me is to pull the rod/cable off the interior door handle. Give it a good yank. Maybe put some vice grips on it and give it a little more force then it should have. That usually opens the door. Unless the child safety lock is on. If that is the case, then you can reach in with the door panel off and disengage the child safety lock

The child safety lock may be partially engaged.... usually a long handled flat screw driver can be used to manipulate it to disengage

I know it's a pain in the ass but if you were to pull off the other side door panel to compare the 2 sides, maybe you will notice something that isn't right. Somewhere that the rods are off or out of alignment

That's going to be tomorrow's course of action if I can't solve it. Thankfully I don't work until later

Lock sounds like it's working correctly but cannot be opened from the outside or inside so maybe a partial child lock isn't the only thing going on?

In the lower picture that you just posted, the white plastic horseshoe needs to push down on that gold colored stem. Can you manipulate that gold colored stem in order to open the door?

Yup Yup. There's still a gun destruction part in the PAM. Now I know why ahha

But to the topic at hand, if the child lock is half cocked and I manage to free it but it still won't open do you have any suggestions?

Try and take the cable off the interior handle. It counder be that the handle isn't extending far enough to open it. Put a pair of vice grips on the cable itself and pull. It might just unjar everything

Top drawer left side of my tool box. Long handle pick set lmfao. Sorry I had to say it. Maybe you can take a wire coat hanger and bend it in order to acess the switch?
