@the_tacocamper, is the hoop rubbing against the bumper? There are some gaps around that area.

 

Yeah I left a little more on there to be safe like others have suggested, probably left about 1/4 inch too much but that’s an easy trimmer when I get a chance haha

Big thanks to Hodakaguy for the informative post! Made the SSO bumper with Warn Zeon 10-S winch a much less painless process. The tip about not tightening down the bolts to the bumper mount until the grille was installed saved me much time. The whole process took me two 10 hour days but I was alone and took my time, and also did the anytime camera install at same time. Very doable for any DIY'er with some patience.

I had my SSO bumper powder coated a shade darker than the truck's cement stock color at a local paint shop (wanted a clean look instead the usual black). Went with the smaller Rigid lights from SSO and wow they are bright.

**I also bought the Warn Zeon short wiring kit and mounted the control panel behind the radiator next to the windshield washer fluid & radiator fluid reservoirs. Didn't want to cut the small brace as Hodakaguy did and also wanted to leave as much room as possible in front of radiator for those OVT turbos!! Plus the location is a much better spot with easier access for the winch remote which plugs in right next to the windshield washer fluid reservoir.

Can't wait to get out on the trails in some mud and play with my new toy..

That looks really clean - I like it a lot more without the mini bull bar. Can you shoot a photo from the side too?

Hey everyone, can you order this with a winch cut out but not install a winch yet? Is there a cover or plate for it in the meantime? Not sure if I need a winch yet but would like the possibility to do so down the road. Also, when was the average arrival time? Is it really 6-8 weeks?

 

There is an option for a cover for the winch cutout, I’d suggest installing everything at the same time though because if you don’t you have to completely remove the bumper to install the winch.
Mine took roughly 8 weeks from time of order. They do update you constantly though which is nice.
