New to the site here. Got a new 2018 back in September MSRP 41,812. Black Double cab long bed 4x4 premium and technology packages with all weather mats mud guards, tie downs. Paid 38,500 OTD tax tags included. At the time was absolute best price could negotiate out of 6 dealers in the Northern VA only one dealer had the vehicle in Richmond VA with all the specs and they were not willing to trade it over to another dealership. Went through USAA & Costco for pricing and negotiated down from that. Privately sold my 2004 xtracab for 11,500 dealer offered me 6k for trade in.

$37,800 or something. Just the off road with zero extras.
    Yes it was a 19

I’m going to sell my car private sale and then try at the same dealership again

That would be $2300 below invoice if you’re talking double cab trd OR AT. Would they sell it at that price without your trade?

Just picked up a 19 DC LB Off Road 4x4 Automatic with Tech pack and Premium pack plus mats and blacked out letting on tailgate. Got it via the Costco scheme and paid 40,421 before tax

    ...^^^... Great price ... what dealer ?

Was that a double cab and what about a tow hitch ? ... I assume V-6 and auto.

    I am looking for a 2018 or 2019 now.

Damn I would have jumped all over that deal then. Hopefully they’ll make that same deal when you go back. I thought we had some pretty good prices here in Denver but that price is better then anything I’ve seen here. I don’t know how you walked on that deal.

That price is bogus. No way on earth he got that truck for that price unless he’s not disclosing something key to the deal.

    Lost somewhere in the PNW
    Vehicle:
Current vehicles: 2019 Rav4 Lunar Rock. 2018 TRD OR DCSB KD Max tuned. 2010 Tundra Limited Crew Max . 1991 4Runner Crawler. Ivan Stewart Edition
KD Max Tune, King 2.5 coil overs T.C. UCA's, Deaver leafs, 17x9 Black Rhyno Warlords, 33" Toyo M/T's, Metal Tech rear bumper, Westin HDX drop steps with Bullet Liner coating, K&N CAI, Baja Designs fog pods, Rigid Midnight addition 3" pod ditch lights. Cali Raised brackets and 32" behind the grill mounted light bar, Southern Style Offroad Lopro Stage II front bumper, Warn winch, FACTOR 55 Ultra Hook, FACTOR 55 Hawes Fairleed, full debadge, Cosmetic goodies such as 15% carbon tint, matte black in channel rain guards, interior LED's, Teton Workshop shift knob, Inferno vinyl detailing on the interior, Cali Raised multi rocker switch cubby insert with Mc Tuning LED switches and a few other mods I've probably left out.
I don't understand paying almost $50k for the TRD Pro. I recently bought a 2018 OR DCSB with tech, premium, leather, tonneau cover, tow package, sunroof etc etc for $37,800 after $1000 Toyota rebate, $500 dealer incentive and $500 military credit. I then proceeded to do some research here on TW and elsewhere and build MY truck. Something from my vision and better equiped then what's coming stock on the Pro for the same money...give or take. Well here's my build list that I did for just over $13k.

King Offroad 2.5 coil over shocks, Total Chaos UCA's, Deaver leaf packs, 17x9 Black Rhyno Warlords, 33" Toyo M/T's, Metal Tech OR rear bumper, Westin HDX drop steps with Bullet Liner coating, Borla S cat back exhaust, K&N CA intake, Baja Designs Squadron Sport fog pod inserts, Rigid Midnight addition 3" ditch light pods, Rago ditch light brackets, Rago whip antenna mount, Cali Raised 32" behind the grill mounted light bar, Southern Style Offroad Lopro front bumper with Warn 8k winch and 30' built in light bar. Cosmetic goodies such as 15% carbon tint all around, matte black in channel rain guards, Weather tech floor liners, OEM bed mat, interior LED's, Inferno vinyl detailing on the interior, Cali Raised multi rocker switch cubby insert with Mc Tuning LED switches and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things. With a total of under $51k I'm close to or even less then some are paying for their Pro. Now I'm not harping on those who choose to pay for a Pro, to each their own, but it seems crazy to spend that much money on a few upgrades from the OR and some badging.

Nice truck, but you have to realize a lot of people buy the Pro and never mod it. Its under full warranty and any issue is covered. You will fight Toyota for anything now, they will blame your suspension and oversized tires for transmission issues etc. I see both sides and both have valid points.
