I grew up in Florida where wild onions and mustard greens were plentiful. I never went hungry while exploring.

We have wild mustard here at home. Great to have a sandwich that 'bites back'.
I have seen a few wild onions here, but not very much.
Wild spinach, goosefoot, also called lambs quarter. Good eats.

    Log cabin in the woods.

    I am.

I am going to the store to get bread and milk. :)
(I bake my own bread, and we do not use much milk)

I am at 3700 ft, so I expect to be snowed in a few days.
Good company here with my spouse, so we are good.
Plenty of stoves and lanterns. Coleman Fuel, canisters, propane, kerosene, and alcohol.
Lots of food. A small generator if we need it.
Wood stove for heat, propane for cooking.

Toboggans for the fun of it. Cross country skis and snow shoes .... Gotta get the dust off of them.

I have, and probably will put on, chains and cables for the T100 if I have to go anywhere.

Damnit I wish I still lived out there.. I miss my little cabin at the top of the mountain in Clyde... The snow out there was always epic and snow usually meant I got to go out and play (because my work was year round..no snow days..no excuses lol

Cabin in the mountains here. WhooooHoo!!

I hope we get enough to make an igloo and it stays cold long enough to sleep in it.

No one drives the road so we toboggan.
Here I took the truck up and down to make a pair of tracks. 2014.
    Just like kids.
