I don’t want to replace the Fox Suspension on my new TRD Pro. I do want a level 1.5-2inch lift. I don’t do a lot of Off-roading. I do race motocross. At times I have two bikes in back along with gear. I’ll also haul a Kaufman trailer to bigger races.

Is the Headstrong Off-Road 1/2 spacer and a AAL the best way to go about this?

Why would you replace the suspension. Just get some airbags or a add-leaf in the rear for towing. The PRO has expensive-ass shocks made for that truck. Don't get rid of those.

Thanks! That’s what I was thinking! Ride quality won’t be that bad with the AAL.

Dont do a coil spacer. There is something way better and healthier that lowrangeoffroad sells and it’s a top plate spacer which doesn’t preload the coil so the ride will feel the exact same

    Option 1:

    Option 2:

If you do a level lift then throw in a couple of bikes the front of the truck will be riding high. There is a reason trucks have rake.

Good idea if you want this to happen:

    IMG_1672.jpg

With top spacers, you'll bottom out the shocks before hitting the bump stops. If you want to lift the front without swapping the suspension, coilover spacers are the only safe option.

Haha no way. That guy is mobbing the shit out of that stock suspension. Duh

These are upgraded “PRO” Fox shocks with a different coil setup. There some guys that run them on here and say it’s cherry.

I'm all ears. If the truck is level and you load 600lbs in the back the nose will be high unless you plan on running air bags to bring the back up.

Along with lifting the front, you have to do a minimal 1inch in the rear. 450 pounds of dirt bikes aren’t going to wheelie the front end. If you do 2 in the front and 1.5 in the rear, you will still have a little rake. Just not as much as factory.

Then we are not talking a level lift any longer.

I just threw a set of icon rxt leaf springs in my 18 pro. Didn’t do anything to the front. I usually run About 150lbs in the bed and with factirycaprings and a full tank of gas i was Sitting level based off of hub to fender measurements. Anytime i added More weight i squatted.

Changed to the icon rxts (option 1) and Now with a completely empty bed I’m at about 2 inches of rake. With my 150lb standard load I’m a touch over 1.5” of rake. Yesterday i had About 300-350lbs in the bed and still had about an inch. Once they break in a little more i think They’ll be sitting where I want them with about 1-1.5 with my standard load and at or above level with extra weight

As far as ride quality goes it is a night and day difference. The icons make the factory leafs really feel like crap in comparison.

I know a guy that ran a spacer lift on his pro 4runner and ran 35” and did all types of stuff with it other then jumping it. It was a Toytec spacer lift that came with 2 front coil spacers which replace the coil perches on the stock shocks and a top plate spacers with longer studs. I am completely against spacer lifts but after swing what he did with his and the pro suspension I would not worry about it. Now of course he now has total chaos 2+ with King’s and bypass shocks in the front and kings and air bumps in the rear. If it was me in your situation get the spacer lift and save your money and if/when it breaks buy the good stuff fox/icon/kings...

I ordered the Toytec spacer and AAL Kit. It will be fine until I put something else on down the road. For what I do, I’ll be more than ok. I’m just a motocrosser.

could one put a spacer under his bump stop to match the shock spacer?
