Hi Guys - newbie here with a rack question.

I have a Softopper on my 01 Double Cab (which has been fantastic). My issue is that I ordered the associated Softopper Sport Rack (see http://www.softopper.com/Softopper_Sport_Rack-details.aspx ) thinking that it would solve my rack problem. Wrong.

The bedrails on the 1st Gens are not wide enough and the rack just doesn't fit properly. They are designed for a full size or at least 2nd Gen in my opinion. Without load, the crossbars shake when travelling.

Anyone else run into this issue? I have seen the thread on Canoe Racks, though was curious if anyone had this setup before.

    Thanks!
