Interesting - did you hammer it in? I have a borla muffler and dumped over the rear axle and its been a bit loud recently. Do you know if there are adverse effects to using this? Back pressure issues?

    Yea
Well a lot of trimming ,cutting and welding hehe, i cut the shit out of the cab mount and re-welded a plate on it and also the cut part of the wheels well and weld a new plate like 1 inch back .. im running 20x12 -44 offset with 37x13.50 tires with 2" inch hub cebtric spacers all around... I went offroading and no issues when flexing , i recently order some 3 inch bulged fenders feom mcneils racing so that will give me more than enough clearance 20181009_173329.jpg

None yet, chomping at the bit for the first one.
Installed a Bakflip MX4, tweeters, all four door speakers, and got a wax.

I'm really happy with the Bakflip MX4 look and feel. Playing with the idea of installing a bed rail on top of the cover near the cab. The cover needs to keep full functionality and be able to hold bikes.

The new speakers are much more clear and is an improvement. Yet the stereo is quieter at similar volumes levels than the stock speakers. The stock speakers are garbage. It's a bummer seeing trash items installed in a nice vehicle.

That was my first speak install and I had never pulled apart a door. I learned a lot after removing and reinstalling the first door panel. If you going to remove the door panels look into replacing the white plastic connector pins(see pic with said item in hand).

My confidence levels are high, and will likely find myself in over my head self-performing mods.

Up next is the Pop and Lock, which I have in hand. Planning on installing on the passenger side. Anyone figure out how to unlock the tailgate with three clicks on the fob? That would be ideal.

What speed? I run 50 miles a day combination 50/50 city and expressway and average 20.1 mpg. Max speed on expressway 75 but that's 10mph over limit which most of the traffic does in the evening rush home!

I am no speed demon due to the mpg. If I go up to 75-80, I live north on 5 and commute to Fairfield Ca, 5 days a week. It’s literally flat highway with one small hill the entire way. I’ve got close to 5k miles on it, I traded my 2017 Ram 2500 in for this truck with the hopes of getting better gas mileage. I zero out my trip meter every time I fill up and filled up the night before I took this picture. 5841CAA3-13CA-411D-A003-FDFC97B09100.jpg

The rear seats are a fairly good fit. I like the fact that you can have the portions split, it comes with some mesh caps that you zip on to make ends. You do have to cut the holes for the headrest posts. The real pain for me was getting the pattern to match up on the bottoms and back. But overall, I am satisfied with them. If they last only a year, for the price that's fine with me. The headrest covers are not great, but keep in mind this is a "universal" seat cover.
Also, if you fold down your rear seats, you will see the straps holding everything in place. And, with these covers there is not a real good way to make use of the middle seatbelt. Its not a problem for me because I usually am by myself or maybe if my wife rides, but I will never have three people in the back seats, so I left that belt covered up. The two outside belts work perfect.

I know that this is 3 year old post, but at the end how was the experience with the supertones? I have a couple brand new Hella that I'm not using. Do you used any special cable kit for get a clean installation?

You're blowing my mind that you get that low on the freeway. Even when I drive 3.5 miles to work on a cold engine in stop and go traffic the lowest I get is like 15.4. Usually more like 16.5. I don't think I've ever gotten below 18 on a freeway trip and that was driving angry. I have a long bed with a cap, sliders, and skids too so I'm no lightweight. Have you tried setting the cruise control to 65 to see what happens?

I set my cruise on 68 and average around 18, if I don't use cruise I can usually average about 20. If I don't take the highway and use back roads I can average as much as 23.
