    excellent list.

    @whitedlite
    I'd substitute tailgate for table, unless you just need a bunch of room.

    and I have this cheapo little stove that does great

    I'd make sure that old sleeping bag is warm enough. For years I used an old Wal-mart bag and just dealt with being cold because I didn't know any better. The Teton in that link is the one I have and it is rated at 5°F. That's the survival temp btw. You want a bag that is rated 20-30 degrees below the temp you will be in.

    I actually don't even stay in my sleeping bag. I unfold it, nylon side down and quilt side up, then use a sheet and regular quilt on top of me. the tent heater is the biggest deal. I can't sleep constrained in a sleeping bag.

    You don't want any heater powered by fuel in a tent. It will burn up the oxygen and give you a nice peaceful death. I usually just buy a bunch of hot hands and throw them in the bottom of my bag.

    false.

    leave a couple vents open in the tent. run the heater about 5-10 minutes before bed, cut it off, and run it when you wake up for about 10 minutes. don't run it all night like an idiot.

    My tent stays hot AF even without a heater. I was sleeping in my boxers with temps in the high 20s

    the only time I've used my heater so far was the sub 15 temps in Kentucky when it was rainy and awful.

    So for you guys that have been wheeling longer than myself, which is most I'm sure, what sort of spares do yall take when going to somewhere like Windrock? Seems like this place is much larger than most so I'm feeling that getting off the trail is much more important than other smaller parks.

    Depends on how fire roads are set up. May be easier place to get rescued than most.

    Buy those coby valves like I shared. It’s what Jeff gave me when I broke mine off

    honestly, just CV axles and some fluids in my opinion, maybe tie rod. sometimes I roll without much more than a spare tire because I'd count on my friends being willing to take me to an auto parts store just like I would do for them.

    oh and if someone else has the parts, or if I have the parts, I tell another party don't worry about that whoever breaks first uses the spare and buys the next one, or takes the guy that breaks second to the auto store lol
