I tried to price them for mine and the site kept trying to steer me to an installer. Is that what you had to do? Go to an installer? Thanks for the info. They are impressive.

Installed my VLED dual beam headlights on Friday, tested them on Saturday night and learned that one of them was broken. Getting a replacement sent to me now, but currently rocking 1 halogen and 1 LED headlight on my truck until then. (Anyone know if the stock rubber housing can cover the fan of the LED? There's still a litttle hole where air can circulate in and out, but I don't know if big enough and if I should leave the rubber housing off)

    Ordered RAM Mount feelers. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ram-mount-feeler.476890/

Also ordered 2 RAM mount B balls, 1 medium arm, and 1 X-Grip phone mount. Can't wait to get these installed.

I had a guy try to do the same thing last week driving to work. Glad to know our bumper inserts can take a beating for us if need be.

I read that it does take a while for the temperatures to get to where they are supposed to be for that to go off. I got a scanguage 2 and programmed it to read tranny temps and that helped me to do mine.

to anyone who has opened their own headlights... would it be a good idea to somehow fix a silica packet or two behind the interior housing to help with moisture?

If you're really that concerned on gas mileage I would either undo the mods, find lighter wheels and tires (try C load and Konig Countersteers (18.5lbs per wheel vs Stock TRD-OR Wheel is 25lbs) Or go from 285s to 255s. I plan on doing 255s next set. They are supposedly better off-road anyways. You could also try skid plates on bottom to get some better aerodynamics to help increase mpg. My buddy also had an old Ram 2500 cummins and he rhino lined it. The textured paint actually helped him with a 5% increase in his fuel economy. The textured paint helps reduce wind drag. Mythbusters did an episode on it.

Other than that, you really can't have the one without the other with this truck. Try supercharging it?

I had no issues with getting it into fluid temp check mode. Look less than 20 minutes to get the tranny up to 115°.

The issue was the procedure varied by 1 step from the writeup. His rig was a pre '12. I was simply stating that there might be a slight difference with the '12-'15s. Once placed back into park following the 2 second illumination of the "AT TEMP"....the light was supposed to come on again for 2 seconds. It did not do that. However, it was in fluid temp check mode....per the post from another '12+ owner who experienced the same thing.

Finally got my BD light bar installed. Took me so long because I had to drop the bumper and weld new tabs on. Gusseted them so they’re rock solid, and that lights not gonna move even a hair.

Also got in my new HD dakars with an additional AAL. Those go on Wednesday.
