I made potato soup from the ground up. I had some chicken carcass from my sponser and he asked me to make a stock video. So I roasted them over some sliced potatoes onions and garlic and then put them in a pot with all the veg trimmings and cover with water and boiled for 30-40 mins. I took the onions and garlic and a cup or so of potatoes and added a little milk and a half stick of butter a d blended it smooth to thicken up the end product. Strained the stock and put 1-2 cups back into the soup with potatoes and puree with a pack of cream cheese and brought back up to a boil to melt the cream cheese and mix everything together... Its really good, my wife doesn't like corn or there would be corn in it too haha

Good! Every post you make, makes me hungry! One question: your instructions say stir 3 times toward the end... stir once 3 times, or stir 3 different times?

3 different times. It helps get the noodles get mixed up better to absorb the sauce. But also helps the smoke flavor mix in better too.

I figured as much, but thought I would ask to be sure. Oven this time tho, so no smoke. 26f and windy out. If it's anything like the last time I made it, it will be outstanding.

The time is short that we will all be living under one roof. T-Rex, our son, is chomping at the bit to get an apartment.

Gonna enjoy it while it lasts.....

I'll be scaling things back on cooking for certain. He can be hard to pin down on his schedule...but when it's a go...it's game on.

Tonight was some leftovers.....two kinds of pintos.....one from the crockpot with a meaty hambone & the others had been made into a batch of frijoles.....along with some Johnsonville Cheddar Brats & Johnsonville sausage rolls (things are awesome).

Sauerkraut, mustards and cheese finished it up.

The pie is all theirs, lol.

Tonight my son and I are bachelor eating. I knew about when he'd get home and fired up a skillet for some wings, tenders & onion rings.

We both agreed the sauce was okay....but not a great one. Neither of us could pick up on anything habanero-ish in what was a fairly bland sauce. It's not one I'll buy again.

That’s because those are rare burrito seeds. You plant them in the late winter, and by the following autumn you have a burrito bush!
