I'm assuming the Rapid Tac 4oz sprayer will work if all we are doing is the short version of the decal?

 

Yeah it will.
I sprayed the hood twice, then once on the back of the decal.floated it on of sorts....then stuck down the top end corner by the windshield, then the other top end side, started squeezing in middle top edge of decal ....worked my way down always from the center/middle of decal squeezing out to outer edge. Then put light on it to see any bubbles which there were only a few.....just had to squeegee over those, no problem.

If you already own a spray bottle, save your money. Just put a water and baby soap (or a coupe drops of mild dish soap) solution together. Follow the instructions provided.

I have the wide XL version, or whatever the biggest one is called. It was super easy to install. I did have my wife help me lay it on the hood. So all told I needed an extra set of hands for all of 15 seconds.

Ordered short version with extra on back and no logo! Will post before and after pics.

 

Is there any way to underlay the logo with a different color vinyl? I’m looking at a black w/orange on a quicksand taco. I suspect that you would have to be concerned about the edges of the underlying vinyl showing through the top layer.

 

Anything is possible but I wouldn’t see how you underlay without it showing. You can always try a cover to go on top of a blank one or keep the cut out and try and get another vinyl to go over it. Email him, he may have a idea. Just a suggestion.

 

Anyone got this on a cement taco? Can’t decide if I like it or not, I love it on the quicksand though
