    This is a neat video showing the effects of meth injection on a aupercharged mini cooper.


    On a ypipe related note, I just took my skid plates off and even though my trans skid is very close it is showing no signs of rubbing so far :D

    Love it! Our system gets heat soaked as well but not as quickly. It also cools back down pretty quickly as well but that is with normal street driving such as stopped in Whataburger drive thru then getting back on the road.
    Meth would be most advantageous to combat heat soak in drag racing or the dunes since the system will heat soak whenever there is minimal airflow over the fmic. It would be a priority system for me if I was going to run in the sand because vehicle speeds are generally slower and the engine is always under high load.
    An adjustable electric fan or pusher fan would also help in those conditions.

    Edit: His skid plate is close to y-pipe due to a previously botched header install. The shop welded a cat in crooked which put the y-pipe at an angle.

    Granted my experience is 1st Gen, the ecu doesn't know because the W/M is injected downstream of any sensor and we don't have an air water intercooler but the truck responds instantly
    with no ill affects. I run zero timing retard year round with my progressive system.

    Sorry, I should have specified. I meant if an independent ait probe was placed after the intercooler for the ecu to see actual temps. Then when meth is injected the temp would drop very quickly and the ecu may not like it.

    I have it and @Roostfactor has it. I like it. Monitor both banks on one gauge. :thumbsup:

    The LCD looks blurry when I take pics of it, but its really sharp in person.

    Making some progress on the jig. I bought some hinges to rotate the female v-band flange into position while fabricating and out of the way to be able to remove the y-pipe when needed.

    I am still figuring out exactly how to make the header to y flanges fit securely but also be removable. Then will be all of the cradle supports that run around and underneath the y-pipe for an accurate template.

    Have you guys had issued with the actual 02 sensors on the innovative? I have a hard time getting longevity out of mine. I want the double, but I'm worried that means two sensor every year!

    Looking good!

    Also, you probably know this, but remember to avoid using the SS tungsten and flappers with the carbon steel. It'll transfer to your stainless work and compromise your SS material. Before you know it, your beautiful welds can start to oxidize over a little time.

    edit: Maybe that is SS tube stock?
