Looks GREAT man! Those are off of a T4R trail right? I have the darker grey ones off of an FJ Cruiser. Wish mine were more silver like yours

I have been wanting these rims for a while and I got them for a steal of a deal. The guy I bought them from had a 4 runner, but I thought they were FJ rims? Too bad you werent closer, we could trade. I would have preferred the darker grey ones, but these are nice too. Pictures dont really do it justice. They look way better in person.

I think the grey ones came on the FJC's and the silvers came on the t4r's. Either way cant really go wrong either way. I love the look of them as well! What's great is the backspacing is perfect to run 285s without needing spacers. Here's the grey ones on my truck. I have 295s so they rub everything, but i love the way they look. Yours looks really nice! were you able to snag a set of 5 or 4?

Grade 8 or 8.8? Metric 8.8 is in line with imperial grade 5. Metric Grade 10.9 ~= Imperial Grade 8.

Learned this on a project of mine last month. Fooled me too.

Nice set up! I got 4 of them for $250! The guy was going to throw in the tires too, but I was planning on getting new ones, so I just took one so I could have a full size spare. The only problem I have is my tires are rubbing slightly at full lock. I have 265/70r17 with 1.25" spacers. Do you think the spacers are causing it? I just got an alignment about 3 months ago.

Yeah, because why would you name them almost the same thing if they aren't equivalent right? :notsure:

Thankfully I used 8.8s in a manner that was far overkill for the application, and not something critical.

Thanks! Yeah thats a steal, i got mine for 300 for 4 and had to track down a spare. Is it rubbing on the rear portion of the front fender well? I do think the spacers are the cause of this..

Yes, the spacers are causing that. Since its pushing the wheel out further, they are closer to the inner fender well when turning. I ran .75" spacers on mine (for all of about 100 miles) and i remember it making the rubbing worse on the fender well area you mentioned. I was trying to get them to stop rubbing on the UCAs with my 295s. Shouldn't need them with your tires, unless you just like the look. I do recall mine rubbing on stock suspension and 265/70/17s. I did not run spacers, and they were rubbing on the mud flaps ever so slightly. I took a file and ground down where they were contacting and that took care of it. I refuse to get rid of my mud flaps, even cut them when i put the 295s on so i could keep them. of course, they still rub though lol

My 265/75R16 Coopers rubbed the front of the liners with my Ray-10s. Took a dremel and cut off a bit of the inside corner. Pretty quiet now unless I am backing up at an odd angle.
