I do not have any rubbing. I have 235/85/16 falken wildpeaks. My truck does have a small coil spacer lift up front and leaf spring blocks in the rear that came on it when I bought it. I will hopefully be upgrading that soon though!

I have a full suspension lift (ICON 2.5's, SPC UCA's, and AllPro Leafs for a total of a 3" Lift) and I still rub. I don't think the lift necessarily helps you fit bigger tires.

Right, I just want to upgrade to get rid of the crappy spacers. I probably don’t rub due to the narrow tire size? Idk. My tires are like 9.25” wide.

Any ideas what rims will fit like what came on mine originally as far as back spacing? The 15inch aftermarkerts I have stick out 1.5-2inches. They throw mud terrible. I want something just tucked back under the fender but not further in like you guys mentioned some will be

You could always go back to the stock wheels or steelies.

Or spend $$$ and get SCS wheels or something like that.

Only changing wheels to get 16s or 17s to get 10ply tires. 10ply 15s don't exist. It's mostly a farm truck, so trying to achieve this on a budget

Yeah those fit, but theyre damn close the the upper ball joints. Closer than my 3rd gen wheels were. Cant get my finger between the tire and ubj, anything bigger than 265-65-17 on those and your gonna need spacers.

@fnfarms1 the wheels you got are Toyota wheels, dealer option for some southern trucks.

unfortunately they are not designed for manual hubs, only auto hubs or pre-runner. other toyota wheels with "removable" center caps like the 2nd pic and this last pic will work as the manual hub protrudes further out than the standard hub. that first set of wheel you got won't allow the room for the hub to protrude far enough.

that being said what others have mentioned, anything Toyota 6-bolt will "fit" your truck as they are all 139.7mm(6x5.5) bolt pattern with 106.25mm hub bore. backspacing will be the determining factor, but seeing as you are running a standard size tire there should not be any issues. 245/70-17 is the same as 31x10.5x15 (and 265/70-16)

So which set with set like OEM wheels. The last pic I posted is factory wheels for my tacoma if I understand. They are just 16s instead of the original 15s

the last pic, if they are 16s were from the 4Runner. The Tacomas had the 15s. But either works. Also the backspacing is correct for all 1st gen

the 17s you posted before are from 2nd/3rd Gen and 03-09 4Runner. They have more backspacing that moves them "closer" to the upper control arm. If you weren't doing stock size tires that may cause an issue. but with stock size (265) or skinnier (245) you won't see any problems.

edit: you will still need to remove the center cap on the front two rims as none of those caps were designed for manual hubs. The center caps for the "tri-star" rims do have a version that is for manual hubs. but most just run them without

one more thing, Tundra 6-bolt and Lexus 6-bolt wheels also fit the Tacoma. but that's if you can find them cheap enough.

Ok so I ended up with these rims. But the lungs nuts I have are acorn style. I don't think they work with these rims. Also I don't think the studs seems centered in the holes? Am I just jumpy and afraid I screwed up again or do i need new lugs?
