I packed most of my reloading stuff up. Had to reorganize stuff and realized I'm good on most stuff for a long time lol. Outside of 308, 32acp, and 458socom that is. 308 I just don't have that many bullets for. 32acp I just want to finish loading up the 1k cases I have for it. 458socom....I still need to finish loading development for and then load a bunch up

I recently bought a Dillon 550. Just got it set up, and loaded some light load .357 that we shoot in competition.

Hope to shoot those in the next week or two, then, assuming all is good, load up a bunch for next season.

Loaded up 300 rounds of 30-06 for the 1903a3 & m1 Garand. I have a goal of loading up 1000 rounds before the end of the year. We'll see if I make it.

It seems that my AR's have taken a back seat to these 2 beautiful rifles. They are a blast to shoot.

I have 2 different 45-70 rifles. 1 is the Browning 1886 with a cresent butt plate and the marlin 1895 SBL with a nice pad on it.
I have 3 different load I use. All are plinking loads. Just having fun.

    1. IMR 3031 40 gr
    2. Unique 15.0 gr
    3. H4198 49 gr

Just a 405gr cast bullet. Flat point. I havent bothered to chrono the load. But its nothing to hot or anything. Shot out of my marlin 1895.

I do have some of the 405gr berry's plated bullets to try one of these days. More got them for the 458socom though

Made up 200 rds. 9mm using Hornady, CCI, and Titegroup and
50 rds. 9mm using Hornady, CCI, and CFE Pistol. today.
Was having issues with my lever for the primer plate
jamming last week. Ended up putting another spring
washer under the primer plate pin and then it worked ok.

Today it does it again, wtf. Well dumba** me after I took out the
single stage toolhead out and installed toolhead for progressive
I neglected to change the primer tube back over for small primers
from when I last had it setup for large primers. o_O Oh well, at least I
figured it out. Was wondering why I was sometimes getting a primer
    installed upside down. :anonymous:

It's taken me a while....but I finally have everything needed to at least get started with my 650. Stuff's been showing up in the mail over the last month.

I have a couple days off work this week and hope to get it all up and running.

First thing needed is to get the bench finished and in place. It's a small deal that will be fitting in a spot in a spare bedroom. Hoping it will be a temporary setup and I'll be able to get an actual mancave setup in our next house....talking about moving in the next year or so.

    Here so far:

    • XL650
    • Inline Fabrication Ultramount with the Quick-Change config
    • Inline Fabrication press lighting kit
    • Dillon Casefeeder with small & large pistol plates
    • Press cover
    • Dillon Eliminator scale + a small battery-powered back up digital scale
    • Dedicated toolheads, quick change kits, dies, powder measures, stands & covers for: 9mm, .45acp & 44mag
    • Current reloading manuals from: Hogdgon, Speer, Barnes, Nosler, Sierra, Hornady and Lyman.
    • Hogdgon TiteGroup 8lbs
    • Hogdgon H110 1lb
    • Hogdgon HS-6 2 lbs
    • Some brass
    • 125gr coated lead round nose 9mm
    • 200gr coated lswc
    • 240gr Hornady XTP

Gonna be good to get up and running.

Not sure how I'm going to handle my hunting rifle rounds (.308win & .30'06). Not sure if I'll add dies & toolheads for them or if I'll simply add another press....like a BL550 or single stage.

    I hear ya.

I'm sitting on two new .30'06 bolt guns that I need to scope & get sighted in....and setup to handload for.

That being said....they are likely to take a back seat to an M1A Scout Squad that deal the I'm working on buying. I've got a feeling that once I get that in hand, all my reloading efforts and range time will be spent with it. Something about the classics...

There is another 'un that I'm looking forward to loading for.

Picked up a Henry H010 that shoots great. The open sights are great but I was able to get a Leupold 1-4x20mm on sale when they phased them out. I need to get it mounted and sighted in.

I've been considering different loads for it. Barnes or Partitions are of interest. Will mainly get use as deer & hog rifle. Hoping to also take it on a bear hunt or two.

    Just found this thread

    1st goal.
Read it twice beginning to end before I spend a dime.

With the new ammo laws in Kommiefornia, (don't ask, just Google- don't want to get in politics) I would expect alot more folks jumping in the reloading pool.

Pics are good for those of you with a set up to show off.
    Will be reloading
    Pistol, rifle and perhaps shotgun.

I shoot almost every weekend and want to reduce costs. And enjoy my free time even more.
