Anybody have any other dealings with these guys?

I ordered a couple wire harnesses for my '18 tacoma and after 8 days, I open a ticket on their website to check the status. They respond by telling me that the '8-10 days' on the free shipping option means that is not when you will receive the item - it is when they will actually ship the item.

So I tell them that is a nice play on words there but what can I do? Just wait longer I guess.

They respond again saying they went ahead and cancelled my order.

 

That's the same language used for about 99% of other retailers. The ship day is within 8-10 days not your delivery date. Be patient and don't bust their chops.

I am going to have to go ahead and disagree with you there. I do most of my shopping online and this is the first place I've seen that has a timeline on the shipping options and the timeline is not when you should expect the package to be delivered.

I just ordered 2 belts from NY and they both arrived in 4 days. I live in Texas. An hour drive from *********.

 

I can guarantee most of us here will disagree with you.

 

That's great. I'll patiently await this proof of 99% of online retailers listing the non-delivery timeline on the shipping options.

I'm interested to see what was said to make them cancel your order (if that's not what you wanted)

 

No experience with taco tunes. I’m with OP. 7-10 days to me means it should be delivered within 7-10 days. Calling after 8 days should have been met with “it’ll be there in a day or two.” However, For them to cancel the order I’ll bet you got a little more sassy with them than you are letting on. My only thought if they are having trouble fulfilling your order, they looked at it as a way out and cancelled your order. I have read some bad reviews. DO a search.

 

Yeah, for full disclosure, I'll post what was said. No doubt I should have left out the last line but I didn't expect them to just cancel the order when I never even hinted at that...

If you opted for free shipping, keep in mind that it might take 7-10 days for your order to ship (per website description). Customers that pay for shipping are usually shipped same or next day.

Tracking Info:

When the order is prepped for shipping you will receive tracking info via the email you provided in the order. Be sure to check your spam filter. We are in a rural area and sometimes it can take 24-48 hours before the tracking information updates.

That is a nice play on words there but that isn't what your website says. It says 7-10 day shipping, which by any reasonable person, would mean the item will arrive in 10 days at the latest. Not that the item will not even be shipped for 10 days.

Looks like the complaints I read online about your company are likely justified.

Screw em. What year truck? You can definitely make your own harness for cheaper. Several good threads. I even did it myself and posted some info. About an hour to do. Much cheaper.

 

It's a 2018 double cab... I'll look into that. Thanks for the advice.

I have focal access 6.5" for the doors and am going to put a JL 13tw5 in the back. AudioControl amps with speaker level inputs in built-in DSP.

Noico as a deadener, then a layer of ensolite foam and a layer of MLV on top. I will take some pics and upload them here when I'm done but I don't expect to tackle it until January at the earliest.

I never said it wasn't in the terms and conditions. Who the hell reads those when ordering something online?
