Hi there, just wondering if you know if I could tap in on my cargo switch wiring for bed truck lighting? If I can which one I can use? I like it so if I turn on my cargo light and it will turn on my cargo bed lighting too. Thanks

Hey all, anyone have any ditch light brackets they aren't using anymore? I can order them, but figured I'd see if anyone had any spares here.

    Let me know!

Ok. I also have issues with them misquoted their weight capacity to increase sales. They listed mine much higher before the max came out, then lowered the rating of the old version. Seems like a crappy sales tactic to me and when questioned, never provided a real answer.

I hope they still don't practice this. im mainly going with them because they already made and I don't have to wait to go camping. the max modular is rated for 600lbs same as the RCI. that should be enough for me the fiancé and the dog.

I'm not an expert on those type of racks...

But I did see where people we're complaining the racks couldn't hold up to washboard roads. The constant vibrations cause the rack to fall apart. Did you order the heavy duty one or light duty?

Well I had an eventful morning. While driving to work in my Corolla on I-66 in Fauquier County, traffic came to an abrupt slow down. I was in the left lane doing about 75 and the cars in front of me were a good hundred feet away. When I hit my brakes, the car immediately turned right like I was on ice. Pavement was a little wet tho. Luckily no one was beside me as I slid through the left lane and onto the shoulder, almost saving it. Then went into the grass and down a slight bank into some small trees and brush. Narrowly missed a big tree down the right side of the car. It actually hit my passenger mirror, knocking it in on the pivot, but never even scratched the side of the car. Front bumper tore up and the styrofoam absorber broke apart. Everything else seemed ok, but I was stuck in the soft ground. Tried to call my wife to bring the truck to pull it out but she had both phones at home turned down while she slept. So I had to call the trooper since nobody stopped to help. Tow truck pulled me out. State trooper was real nice and said although he hated to write me up, he had to for "failure to maintain proper control ". But he did say he'll talk to the judge to try to get it down to improper driving.
I bungee'd the bumper up, checked to make sure nothing was leaking, and drove it to work. I checked underneath, fixed some of the plastics, and duct taped the bumper back in place temporarily (thank god I bought that car in "duct tape silver mica"
I'm ok. No worries there. Just scared the piss outta me when it turned right like that. And thankful no other cars were involved.

On a sidenote, for the last two months the ABS, Traction Control, VSC, and Brake lights have been on. Asked a trusted mechanic about it and he said it's more than likely just a brake light switch at the pedal malfunctioning. The car has never driven differently, so I just kept on driving it, and every once in a while, the lights would go back off. Wondering now if this may have been at fault today.
