Anyone else not satisfied with their 6 MT?

I too looked at the frontier. But the lack of updates as you stated, combined with the somewhat cheap feel of the interior was a deal breaker for me.

 

I love my 6MT. Wife loves it also. You don't buy a pickup if MPG is at the top of the list.

 

Or a Toyota. Tundras are awesome, and so are T4Rs. Know what isn’t awesome about them? Fuel economy.

 

And in the US, Nissan have decided that ALL of their off-road ish offerings should be automatics. I guess it helps sales in the modern soft world.

But more on topic, the Taco Manual....

Anyone else think starting in 2nd is a little lack luster? Or maybe I'm still breaking in my new clutch?

I never do 2nd gear starts. Too paranoid I'll burn the clutch. Maybe after the update its more reasonable to do so? I just notice that I have to ride the clutch too long in order to not lug/ stall it.

 

I have to admit I'm just not satisfied with a whole lot of anything or anyone anymore. The World has become so overrated.

 

Well good news is modern society is riding on a knife edge and could crumble at any moment... literally a thousand things that could easily knock us back to the stone age...

 

My 95 Pathfinder and 06 Sheep Wrangler both started in 2nd beautifully. Maybe that isn't a thing anymore. (That Pathfinder is still in the family, 230,000 miles and going like its still brand new)

 

Actually if you go and read the original post, you’ll see that he is bitching and asking if anyone else hates their transmission. Maybe you can’t read well, I don’t know

 

It isn’t. Power is significantly better tho. Second gear no longer feels like falling off a cliff.

 

They should, it would make resale on mine even better!

Sounds like someone was trying to talk you down. "Ahhh, it's a manual that sucks. I'll give you $100." like that? I would trade my 1st gen AT for an equal MT in a second and I'm not alone.
