Agree 100%...I ran 881s/5100s for a little over a year before switching to Kings (Icons rear)...on the street I didn't notice much difference, if anything the 881s were a softer ride than my Kings are going to and from work. But offroad is an entirely different story, the 5100s can't hold a candle to the Kings in the dirt.

That said, for someone on a budget and/or someone that doesn't wheel a lot or very hard, I think a 5100/OME kit is good choice. I wouldn't knock on it if it suits the person's needs. In my case, I had to cry once and buy twice, but that's just me

My rears have been fine. Ive had to rebuild my coilovers tho. Im not very happy with their performance, I will be rebuild/ revalving them to see if I can get them to something I can live with, If not they will be off and Kings will be ordered.

Too stiff or..? To be honest I can't really tell that my rear shocks are even back there because the All Pro Expo springs are pretty stiff and much easier to feel than the shocks.

I do sometimes wish I had gone with Kings in the rear but the only ones I could find were for 0 - 1" lift and a couple hundred more than the Icons, which were sold for up to 3". I'm sure you can get Kings like that too but maybe they have to be custom ordered? I dunno, but every where I looked had them listed as OEM rear length shocks.

Digressive valving. You either love it or hate it. .
Do a revavle though. You'll be surprised what they can do with tweaks

I dont wanna cry twice for sure, Im even contemplating the idea to sell the truck , TW as someone said most expensive freemenbership ever. You said you got 881 and 5100, wheelers told me to get 880 coil....I nay just hold a little longer a get the Bilstein 6112 at front and 5116 or whatever is the # or just Icon or hold even longer for Kings ? IDK anymore ...:argue:

For leafs sounds like the list are Allpro or J59 8 pack from wheelers or General HD as opt replacing OEM. IDK :burp:

We are weird crazy but fun with these Tacolovers in this forum.... a reason for empty wallets!!!!

What do you want to do with your truck? For me I camp and wheel 40ish/52 weekends. So spending money on my truck really doesn’t hurt me. It’s the hobby I do most.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Say what you will about Bilstein... But here we go, yet again, on this thread.

Dude just dropped over a fucking grand to improve his truck. Is it Fox, Icon, or King? No. Is it a thousand percent better than stock? Hell yes it is. Is it going to be a good improvement for him? Probably.

If this guy is going from stock, (which it looks like he is, judging by his profile pic) to this, chances are this will be a great improvement to his truck. And chances are he doesn't need Kings for what he's doing yet (he may never need them).

But does anyone take time to ask? Nope... lets just tell this dude he wasted over a grand of his hard earned money.

I just don't fucking get it.
