The low profile will keep the tent low enough to reduce drag. Or you can go with a set of bed bars. If you are concerned with weight you can get the low profile bed bars or rack in aluminum. As well if you want a discount code @TaKoToy has one for you it's SOSExpo I believe. He is the Va. local SOS guy.

The ones you are looking at from BAMF are comparable to the low profile bars from SOS. A pair from SOS would be 140 and you can add t-nuts for mounts and high lift mount and be at the base price for the BAMF bars plus like I said @TaKoToy has a 10% off discount code.

Here they are and they are definitely low enough to keep the tent out of the wind. @Sammie has a pair with her tent she can post a pic to show what it'll look like.

Try this guy first. Not a lot of lead time. Ships fast. Has three different heights of bed bars. And has bolt- on gear panels for rotopax, quickfists, etc.
    Quality stuff

I don’t feel any drag with mine. But with the bed bars it sits almost even with the top of the cab. This is with two bed bars from SOS.

@Cody23 if you are looking for just two bed bars. I have the low profile ones from
    http://tacomapocalypse.com/
They are $225 new not powdercoated. I'll sell you mine for $150.
Only reason I would sell them is to buy the next taller set that I wished now I would have gotten first.
They will work on both 2nd and 3rd gens too

Shoot eddy a email with what your looking for. Just about everything he does is customizable. The kick out on my bumper is something he designed just for me. The lead time may go up a little but you get exactly what you want.

Welcome! We’re having a dinner meet up tonight if you wanna join and meet some of the locals.
Took me about 3 hours to do. You’ll want to rent a 3 jaw puller and a u joint press tool from autozone.

You 4wd? Could just pull the driveshaft and drive around in front wheel drive for a day or two while you work on the driveshaft

Edit: duh of course you’re 4wd. We wheeled together.
