You know what's good fun... Realizing the heat isn't coming on because the propane tanks are likely empty.

Dis gun be an extra cold night. Non 4 season camper in the 4th season ftl.

Yeah, i have a small space heater but pretty sure it'll get below freezing inside by morning.

Temps at 2° and feels like -13° right now. No thermometer inside though.

Lol he's either in the house or curled up in a ball on the porch, or running around like a wild coyote. Either way, yeah he'll be warm.

I'd recommend a good beer blanket with a nice warm fuzzy layer of whiskey.

Checking in to see if you are still alive... just be thankful you don’t have a 1 year old as well when you lost heat. Happened to us on our trip this summer. Only got down to 55 inside the camper but that was cold enough. After that happened we bought an electric heater we could run off of the generator and a buddy heater. Oh and you should have bought a Bigfoot :p I slept in that thing with only a electric heater the other night with temps that got down to 15 and I was nice and toasty inside.

Haha thanks, it wasn't bad, it's just the getting out of bed part.

But the house is a mere 20ft away which has heat, just my camper situation that was cold.

Yes, i thoroughly regret not getting something that was a bit better for cold temps...live and learn, figured they would have to be somewhat decent. Not so much.

55 is what i usually have the thermostat set at. :D

I only turn it on at night when I'm sleeping. And the two tanks have lasted since it got cold enough for them for this year. Although while i was in Moab, i forgot to turn it off so it ran for that whole week or so straight.

Im going to see if i can do an insulation job on the floor between the frame, the floor seems to lose the most heat.

I do need to check and see if it's on both tanks or just one since there's no gauge.

I had a co-worker living out of RV in littleton and they put those skirts around them in winter to keep that cold air from circulating underneath the frame.
