    I see. Even older technology. I have a Keystoker coal stove as well. Lots of Pocono types use them. Lots more BTUs/lb. A lot more manageable than wood, auto feed hopper, etc. When I get that thing going I can hang out in my underwear in the dead of winter with all my windows open. Not sure if they have easy access to coal deliveries up that way. Full furnace models available too. Guessing you already have a plan though.

    A 4k peak can definitely be made to work. All depends on how much you plan on using it, and actual load you will be putting on it. At a 2k watt load, you will be pulling over 170 amps, and even closer to 200 if the inverter is inefficient. For short time usage, a single battery with truck running can handle that.
