Yeah was fine, it was really an elbow to my temple, but I was crouched down so direct hit.

I installed me new Baja designs light bar. I took the bumper off to weld on new brackets that fit the bar perfectly, and were strong enough to hold the weight (the fucker is beefy). All back together now.

Edit: gonna try and get some nice pics tonight in the parking garage so I can update IG.

I love how they look. Are they noticeably brighter than Amazon stuff?

If I remember correctly, it took me around 4-5 hours to do mine.

Glad to hear you're doing better.

I finished getting all the fiberglass on my truck. @Darkgoatracer blew up his rear diff. @Cody23 bought a 3rd gen. @PyritePirateBill's daily driver tried to take him out during his morning commute.

Haven’t driven my truck at night yet, but no doubt in my mind it’ll blow Amazon lights away! I’ll report back tonight since I can use it coming home from bjs.

Man that sucks glad you are ok and no other cars were involved. If you have a scanner at the shop that can check fault codes I'd pull them and see. Could also be a wheel speed sensor or the like. When the lights are on like that it goes into "limp" mode and those systems don't operate. So unless you are doing some spirited driving that would normally cause wheel spin, abs activation, etc then you would never know they aren't working. It would be like having an older car without all those fancy gizmos.

Va troopers are a little ticket happy it seems. NC they more than likely would not have written you a ticket. Also in NC they do not "have" to write a ticket it is discretionary as to the situation. Not sure if it's the same way in Va. I didn't get a ticket for causing a 4 car wreck in a similar situation on a 2 lane country rd., slightly wet went into other lane of traffic after I came over a hill and traffic was at a dead stop. Truck in front of me went off the rd. I ended up in the other lane and a head on collision then the car behind me smacked into me and the truck behind the car I hit smacked into her. Trooper wrote no tickets due to the fact we were following traffic laws and came over a blind hill and had no where to go or ability to avoid the collision, that's what he told everyone involved.

Since then this has become really popular way of doing the side protection. It's beefy that's for sure.
