Yup I'll be moving 70% of my money into that for a year or two.

 

I have already done that (but for different reasons). I have 22 stocks now, spread about evenly, with a dividend yield of about 3.5%. Most are dividend aristocrats. I hate to say it, but I would like to see the market decline since I’m still a buyer, and getting the same dividend at a lower price (so higher yield) is actually a benefit to me. I don’t want to see it go down forever of course, but the next few years would be a huge benefit to what I’m doing.

 

Yea we need things to correct to fair value so we can begin the next leg of REAL growth.

Guaranteed, things will get worse before they get better.

Not trying be a fear monger or spread FUD, just the normal progression of cycles.

 

The futures have turned green since I posted this like an hour ago! This is not the market to buy low and sell high, because I don’t know when we will get a high.

Yes, not many realize the bond market and value of USD have a direct impact on what happens in the stock market.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious if you look at the graph I posted on the last page, it looks like the 10 year bond yield dropped significantly.

 

I'm hoping today will be a good day before my reallocation kicks in, but we're off to a rough start.

 

Apparently some Chinese CFO was arrested in Canada and the futures plunged, and then today’s massive losses.

I am starting to think the market is tanking, so any news will cause a drop. The same news during a bull market would have no bearing on prices. Just hold on, it’ll be back up someday.
