Whatever...you believe whatever you need to make yourself feel better about your purchase. I personally love this TRD Division story that make our unicorns so special so I'm all in on it.

I wonder if the TRD Division sent my dealer this magical truck without them requesting it as well. Like divine providence. This truck was sent from god (TRD division).

Damn. Well, I already put the $500 down to get it through my local dealer. That may be the one they are trying to get here. It seems to meet every specification--including no DAI.

What he doesn’t know, is that there actually IS a TRD Pro line of sort. When the Tundra’s, Tacoma’s and 4Runner Pro’s are being built, They are not done side by side with the others. The line is changed over and they run the Pro’s through. When they are done, they change the line back over for the mere mortal vehicles. It’s simply to help prevent mistakes. My Aunt worked at the KY Plant for 15 years. She opened the plant in San Antonio. She has been with Toyota since 1987. She explained the whole process to me last year at Christmas.

That is done on every factory when swapping configurations. On a chicken processing plant, they swap the line to make chicken nuggets, then they swap it again to make chicken tenders and no one argues chicken tenders are the TRD Pro of chicken.

I test drove it. Hated the lack of keyless entry and the MT is geared really low. Reminded me of my old 4cylinder MT Tacoma. 1st and 2nd gear wind out really quick. You don’t even get a hint of V6 until 3rd gear.

Same line, 90% same parts bins and process, same employees that put mine together put yours together, just a run of PRO'S for a bit, it's a Tacoma not a AMG Mercedes, get over yourself.

You just compared the TRD-Pro line to an AMG Mercedes, the fact you're even making that stretch shows how far you're reaching to try and keep your "Anti TRD-Pro" rant going ... To each their own. We LOVE our TRD-Pro's and nothing you can say is going to change that or make us feel we wasted our time and money trying to get one.

No I was pointing out the nonsense with that comparison of a PRO being built by some unique division/process/seperate better line that some here seem to believe. It's not hand built, it's not separate from the other Tacomas, more expensive, some different parts that are exculsive to its trim, yes. Not anti-pro at all, read earlier posts. Anti ignorant or incorrect statements / misinformation. Glad you like yours and again never said you wasted your time or money, read earlier posts before you start making assumptions or generalized statements. Enjoy your new truck.

It’s way obvious to me and everyone else in here that you are the only one in here that’s butthurt for whatever reason. It’s Something.

Everyone else just bought a Pro and we enjoy our trucks. I have not gone in to any other threads and complained about the choice they made for their vehicle. They chose theirs gor their own reason. Who am I to tell them anything. So why do you feel the need to say anything? Mind your own. None of us are saying anything negative about what you chose to buy and why. Give it a rest. It appears you post JUST to stir the pot. No matter what thread or forum on here. I’m not the only one that sees that.

And just an FYI, within the next couple years, the Pro’s WILL have their own facility of production. While all the vehicles do share a lot of the same parts, it’s still really expensive changing the lines over and causes a hault/production on both lines by changing them over. They are eliminating that. So I guess you’ll have to find something else to complain about.

Not stirring any pot. Simply pointing out incorrect information. In fact you are the one who is quick to make some comment that turns the thread in a bad direction "jealous you can't afford one" "mortal trucks", etc. And haven't complained or said anything negative about the pro, I only said in my opinion its not the best choice and a waste of money if you gut the suspension. In fact if you read back I said its a great option if you plan on keeping your truck stock. Read. But I digress. Again enjoy your truck.

Not complaining, do you understand the definition of complaining? Simply correcting a mistruth / fallacy about CURRENT production.

    Stock for now.
Found some $200 ones on Amazon, I think they were I-Armour or something. Just wanted to get something on there for a step and protect from door dings.

Now, back to the flame war...

No need. I'm here to see the Voo doo blue trucks, since contrary to what some seem to think here, I do like them.

Whether you mean or not, you come off and sound like someone who is bitter. Obviously others think/see the same thing. No one here is an idiot and no one cares when someone mentions the TRD Pro division whatever accept for you. The one person in here that doesn’t have a TRD Pro. I know that no such place exits, but it doesn’t really matter. I didn’t feel the need to jump in and immediately correct her. It’s ok if she thinks there is/was. You were that 2nd grader that told everyone Santa wasnt real weren’t you?

No matter the thread or forum, you ALWAYS have to correct or throw in your 2 cents. Enough already. Don’t chime in on every little thing. Your opinion is noted. We here you loud and clear. Just chill out. No one cares what you think of our decision. No one has ever said the 1st thing about you NOT buying a TRD Pro, have they. Why? It doesn’t matter. You bought what you bought for the reason you bought and that’s awesome. I’m happy for you. I had the same truck. It was awesome. I just wanted a Pro. And whatever I do to mine is my business and my decision. Just like everyone else in here that bought a Pro. End of story. Move along.

There you go with the throwing stones and name calling. Nice bud. And it's a forum, its filled with opinions, whether YOU like them or not or how YOU percieve them. I'm entitled to mine and to say as I please without offending others (something you seem to fail at, ex. military thread on vital, here, etc.) just like I can hang out here and discuss voodoo blue tacoma's even if I don't own one. Since I seem to upset YOU and YOU seem to be the one that just can't leave it alone with your pro hate agenda you want to impose on me, which I never have said or have had (besides the suspension swapping discussion which was an opinion and not bashing by any means), there is this neat button on here called "ignore" feel free to ignore me. Again, enjoy your new truck and maybe heed your own advice.

Now back to the thread topic.
