Absolutely. Just don't get carried away doing things like rock crawling which risks denting up your door sills. Best bet would be to hook up with someone that knows some local trails.

If you've never had a 4x4 before it would be a good idea to find some dirt roads or just an open field somewhere and experiment with getting it into 4Lo, using the various slip (MTS) modes and crawl mode.

Anyone heard of ion wheels? Specifically the multi lug pattern ones.
    They are 5 on 5.5 or 6 on 5.5?image.jpg

The "Paid-Off" mod is the greatest one you can do. Don't worry about staying stock, pay it off and then get crazy.

There are a lot of dirty roads that you can play on. What part of Phoenix are you in?

-Always go explore with another truck
    -buy a good tow strap
-have fun, if something looks a little too much for you, don't do it. Nothing wrong with backing off a trail because you don't like the way it looks. We have all done it.

Welcome, could always start with some frequently traveled FS roads like going up and over 4 peaks road to el oso road, then have lunch in Tonto Basin https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/arizona/four-peaks-4x4-road. The run to Sheeps Bridge is very easy as well as long as you dont do it during or right after heavy rain and a cool payoff and truck photo op at the end https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/arizona/cave-creek-to-sheep-bridge
    [IMG]

Wont need 4x4 for either of those but gets you out on the dirt to get a feel for the truck. You'd be surprised how sketchy it needs to get on dry ground before you really even need 4wd

Welcome. There are plenty of beginner trails to help you get used to your truck. I suggest getting this book also.

    Welcome.

There is lots and lots of stuff that you can do with a stock TRD OR.

I agree on paying it off asap. Though I bet a few mods will sneak in before that is done.

If you ever want to explore a bit of Northern AZ let me know and we can attempt to work something out.

Looking for recommendations on a shop that can recharge a shock with nitrogen. Called SDHQ and they said it's a day turn around, but I'd really like to get it done today. I don't want to drive to Tucson so ADS is out. Is there anyone else local to Phoenix?

I’m starting to look around & glocks seem to look like one of the better bang for the buck.. not too sure on models tho. Lol
