Wish your group would come out to Los Angeles and teach these guys a thing or two. Thankfully I’m no longer on production, I now work off production, but when I did work on, a 20 hour day was quite normal. It’s a crazy business. Sometimes by Friday, you’re going on at 4 in the afternoon and getting off at 10 the next morning. Don’t miss those days.

Have a great time in Boston. Try a funnel cake from one of the guys on the carts. It’s served hot and it was good. At least when I was there it was.
Then again, you’re near beignets....can’t get much better than that.

They are really handy. I carry 2 on my work truck. But a person can hurt themselves pretty bad if they don't know what they are doing or don't pay attention. One thing I have learned is to spray all the actions and operates freely. Sometimes they hang up and that's usually when someone gets hurt.

Just an FYI the Jack handle can be used as a front driveshaft on a Jeep . I pretzeled my front d/shaft and with the help of a friend of mine we welded up the yoke ends to the Jack handle . This enabled me to get back off the trail

    I have https://www.amazon.com/Hi-Lift-XT-605-60-X-TREME-Jack/dp/B0017T3P3C/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1544033893&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=hi+lift+extreme+48&dpPl=1&dpID=31uiCiEJb+L&ref=plSrch
And the wide base , wheel hooks , tree strap and a synth cable. The wheel hooks are great if you don't have d rings on your bumper and just need to lift your self off something. The jack is reverseable so with the extreme add on piece you can pull or push. But like everyone else says becareful you would not be the first person to get smacked by the handle or dent your truck with the handle when it snaps up ...
Oh and get the handle rubber hold down unless you want to try to figure out with the hollow metal pipe rattle is coming from. Mind you get 2 they tend to dry and split my jack Is in the back of the truck under the cap and it broke in half after 2 years .

There is no way you are 290 years old.... If you are, you are doing tremendously well, to be still tolerant of people...
