    I grew up just north of Louisville, in Indiana. We could get a foot of snow and not let it slow us up. Drive across the Ohio River into Kentucky, and flurries in next weeks forecast causes traffic shut-downs.

    This morning turned into 1/4" of glare ice. Not a lot tires can do to help then. Just leave early and drive very slow (which I do ALL the time in my advanced age)
