Personally I didn't bother. That is the most unused light ever and with such infrequent use why change it?

I changed out the passenger visor for my wife to touch up her makeup. Left the drivers side as is. I am too ugly to care looking at myself in the mirror. :anonymous:

As cheap as they are, if you're like me and convert everything else to red and wished you had some bright whites this would be an easy and inexpensive option.

    Just a thought. :fistbump:

I'm really interested in the front turn signals that don't need resistors. Do you know if they will also work for the rear?

Excellent question. I forget what @Parker315 told me but I would like to know because I have the fronts (WOW) I'd like to add them as well to the rear, and might do the same thing to my Lexus.

Pretty sure you need resistors in the rear regardless of what brand LED you go with, if you already have some in the front. I know I did once I added my rear blinkers. My front blinkers (JDM) were fine with no resistors.

From what I have been told these were designed with the correct load/resistance built inside. They don't have Red yet for the rear turn signals as far as I know and they are working on the 7443 running/brake light. @deAutoLED.com can you confirm that or no?

That would be cool if they had everything built it. I imagine it would get VERY hot though.

I just ordered some side markers from deAuto based off your review. I forgot I haven't changed those yet. Looking forward to testing them out.

On a different note going back to Hikari LEDs. I can confirm that they do freeze over. I was out offroading going through some slush/water puddles and when we stopped there was a layer of ice over my headlights! I've since received and installed my new HID bulbs so I'm hoping that doesn't happen again.

LOL, dude I did the same thing. I had totally forgotten about those. Honestly, didn't think it would be much of a difference. I was very surprised. Have you gotten those in the mail yet? I was very impressed with the quality.

Yeah, those LED's dont put of much heat AT ALL. I have Morimoto Elite 55W HID's in 6500K. Its crazy that when you go up to 55W The color temp drops. The 6500K look more like 5500 cause I had originally bought 5500 and it looked closer to 4500-5000k. I have the 35W ballast and the 6500K is much more white. The 55W is WAY brighter though.

Nope, just placed the order a few minutes ago!

Yeah, 55w HIDs I think are too much for normal on the road driving haha.

I'm a light geek. The brighter the better as long as they are bright in the right way and not blinding everyone on the road.

Where did you mount the resistors in the rear... it didn’t look like there was anywhere that would work when I removed the tail light tonight.

Just on the inside wall. Drilled a hole and put mounted them there.

I don't believe they have the 7443 bulbs yet my friend, but I do believe it's in the works. I checked yesterday and didn't see that option. Maybe I missed it?

Yes you will want a red bulb behind red plastic. Reason is if it's bright enough it will make the red look more pink. The red will look way better. Here is an example.

This is the side marker with a white LED bulb behind and orange lense and a amber bulb behind an orange lense. You can see that it's lightens up a lot.

So this is what stock halogen looks like
    20181116_170912.jpg

This is what an Amber LED looks like
    20181116_172043.jpg

And this is a White LED
