Salt is hydroscopic. It draws moisture. That bag of salt will become a liquid if you leave it long enough. No bag is fully waterproof.

Doesnt look like I can source any custom color spray paint locally. The GM silver I bought is no where near close enough. Thinking of painting the center caps black. Any thoughts?

 

It’s not. A bad look. Not one I’d run. But I don’t mind the look

 

I may just have a shop spray them to match. Gotta get some paint mixed up first.

 

I’m sure if you ask a body shop they’d be willing to paint them for cheap if you pay cash

 

I do love those wheels, maybe the Anthracite Toyota color, you can usually find it at the auto parts store in a can.

 

That is an awesome color and does look great on those wheels

 

Problem is, theyre being powdercoated this color.
I dont wanna throw anthracite in when its nowhere else on the truck. Ill talk to my powdercoater and see if he recommends anybody to do the caps.

 

couple dollars per square foot. Didn't realize the white was not part of the design, doing the red/blue may be more feasible for me to do
